Tailgate!! (and friends)

O.K. so we have a tailgate party to kick off our first home game at like 6:45... I'm sitting here at my dad's job blogging all nervously. We already had a pep rally this morning and we had to cheer and the butterflies were like freakin popping out of my stomach, but afterwards everyone was telling me what a great job I did. Im not being cocky at all, just saying that the compliments gave me confidence for times like right now!! Tailgate should be fun...i mean its FREE FOOD.... but of course i am coming to cheer and support my team especially Charles.( don't think I like him.. He's a senior. He just inspires me to work hard) He is AMAZING! he can score like 3 touchdowns with nobody chasing him...I mean this dude will have nothing behind him but the field and a little puff of dust ....:) Well in other news, this day was average...until the end...got a WHOOOOOLE lot better! ( the better I am referring to is totally unspoken). Well I can't express my nervousness for the first home game any more, so i just talk about Gabi. Gabi, Gabi, Gabi...she is one of the people I hang out with at lakehill and she is hilarious!! she one of the Favorite Freshman, which consists of Gabi, Me, and my other friend Brianna. Gabi's British and Asian and she speaks with an accent. She thinks she's stupid! She told me one day she was nearly legally stupid, but she does say things that are...well......i.e. we were in class, and the teacher's phone rang, and Gabi says "ohhhh sorrrry". she almost got herself in trouble. wow. another example......the science teacher asks her if she carpools. She says " YES! EVERY MINUTE, EVERY SECOND EVERY DAY! I LOVE IT!! WAIT... WHAT'S CARPOOL??.....i love Gabi though She's our little Brasian! <3....geez i wish yang would tell us about the people at her school...

our first..long away game

Hello! Its been a long time since iv'e blogged, cause of my homework so i thought id say how my first week went. Well it went pretty well and we had our first friday night football game yesterday...and it was in savoy..like two hours away from my school. On the bus I tried so hard to fight the sleep. I had no idea what was making me so tired. I did wake up to Gabi and Brianna petting my hair....We left at 3:30 and didnt get back until 1:40 a.m.! It was traffic everywhere and the power went out at the game and we sat for 30 minutes waiting for the power people...but after that we won 33 to 12!!! It was really fun, but the cheerleaders should not be sitting in the back of a hot bus!

Body Art

I'm a fat fan of body art. I love tattoos and I want some..yea SOME! Most people get tats because they think its cool and all, but then there are the tattoos that symbolize soo much and its crazy to think that ink can do that. I know someone that lost her mother and she got a dove tattooed on her wrist I guess to remind her of her and I think that was touching. One negative thing I hate about tattoos is that people will judge you because they see them before they meet you. It's like unless it has a date of birth and death, your're some wild child when that always isnt the case. I want Love on my wrist so that I can always remeber that even in the hardest situation I have love with me always, even if it doesnt feel like it. I also want a lion becasue of my zodiac sign and because they represent strength and pride and everything I want to show the world.I read http://thechicagorose.tumblr.com/tagged/tattoo before I started this post and Christene really touched me in that post. She reminded me that aslong as Im happy and no one is getting hurt I can be that wild child who just happens to be living life! When I get passionate about something, I tend to set my mind to it until I do reach it or do it, so I guess one day Ill post picture of all my tattoos. What would you tattoo on you? Addiction

Hey guys. I know its been a while since Ive blogged, but life has been slow and not much worth to blog about has been coming to me. Last night I made up my mind and thought about things that I could possibly interest you, and I thought...my addiction. Now I'm not addicted to anything illegal like drugs, but it is still considered an addiction. I, Yang, am addicted to sunflower seeds,social sites, and clothes. Now its sorta no longer low-key which is why I decided to share it with yall. Sunflower seeds just seem to put me at ease and calms my nerves, which I know is funny but its very true. Around my house you will always find a bag of David's barbecue flavored sunflower seeds just because I happen to have what one might call, on-end nerves. When I say social sites, I mean sites like facebook and twitter,which I might add I have been neglecting for my brand new facebook, just make me happy. Its something about me being able to look at people's stuff without them knowing and yes, I do know that makes me sound weird but that's Yang for ya. But my biggest addiction would have to be clothes. I love them with a passion. I believe that its the fact that you can have so many different things and the fact that they show your character. I have alot of clothes and I do thing that in the future shoppers anonymous will have a visit from me. They are just soooo pretty that going inside stores just brightens my attitude so much that I seriously consider a future in design as my career. I really feel that admitting an addiction helps them and I don't feel that having one is bad, it just shows your love for that particular thing. Before I go I just wanna know, Whats your addiction?

Bottom of the Ocean

There is one person that I really respect, and her name is Miley Cyrus. I used to be a crazy Hannah Montana fan, but after I died down a bit, I picked up her autobiography last year when I went to Disney World. It was really good, so I started reading it againg a couple days ago, and i remembered things, and values, and relationships that I almost completely forgot. Even though she was sixteen when she wrote it, she had a lot to tell. Miley went through so much as a child, and she had to give up her only love to audition for Hannah Montana. She is a strong young, christian lady, and helps people all the time. One thing she said in her book was how she came up with the song, "Bottom of the Ocean" She originally wanted to make it about 2 special friends she once had, but there was so much more to it. It could have been about anything. Miley said that she buries things at the bottom of her personal ocean, things that shes tried to let go of for so long and she has inspired me to do the same. I actually have 2 oceans, a physical and a mental. When most people think of Miley, they think of the little Disney channel girl they saw years ago, but she isn't a little girl anymore. She is pretty much an adult now, and Im sure she would like it if her fans and the rest of America respected her discisions. Even if they don't, Miley Cyrus ALWAYS shakes the haters off and keeps on moving.

I'm writing this without a title because I' going to be brief and mention a few things. First thing is YAY!!, we have reached 16 followers and it seems like the number is growing daily, so remember to tell your friends and leave comments. The second thing I have to tell you is that Syd is on her way home today!! Sadly though, were probably not gonna get to hang out cause she leaves again on Thursday. Finally the last thing is videos will be coming very very very very soon only due to the fact that we want yall to be able to connect with us, but before put in alot of hard work, would yall watch em if we did em?

A special story(for me at least)

Does anbody have something that is like, really special to them........but its an inatimate object? Well I do. Its my CD player. And it might sound crazy, but I take it everywhere I go, even though it doesn't work....see, Ive had it for about 2 years now and I just can't get rid of it. Its the best CD player I could ask for. It has AM FM radio and of course plays CDs. And it has my favorite feature, the bass booster. I used to drop it all the time, and I dropped it really bad one day. After that it started to make weird noises when I turned it on, but it still played, so I wasn't worried. That went on for about a month, then it just stopped working altogether. But I still took it everywhere I went, in hopes that it would play. So here I am 6 months later in DeRidder, Louisiana with it, and of course my other working CD player, because one thing I can't be without is music. So I turned it on like I do all the time to make sure it didn't work......AND IT PLAYED! I was so happy I didn't want to turn it off cause I was scared it would stop working, but I did and It still played no matter how many times I turned it on! Boy I'm glad I got it working cause my mom throws away everything!

I was watching T.V. with my granny the other day and on one of her little how this man said something like insanity and genius flirts with each other and i totally agree. Now by me being me, I couldnt remember the exact quote so I of coursed went to google and had NO luck of finding it but I did come across this one “One man's insanity is another man's genius; someday the world will recognize the genius in my insanity." ~Author unknown. The reason Im talking about insanity and genius is because i feel that so many best friends are that exact same way, for instance me and Yin. In our case, she is genius and im insanity but i feel that our different personalities is what makes us besties. I dont think the two could possible clash at all because opposites attract. Right? I think that there is a certain flair that they both find interesting in each so I think that would lead to any relationship, that you could make last forever.

P.S. Yin gets back in town on Wednesday so we might put up a video this week if we're lucky.

What is it going to be like?

Seriously. What is it going to be like? I'm curious. I was pretty upset when Michael passed but I could never comprehend the pain of the people that grew up listening to his music and learning about him, almost as if they knew him. Most of those are people like our mothers and fathers. Some people thought it was a little too much to cry about his death, but our parents actually deserved a tear or two because of that special connection with someone who kept entertaining the world as our parents got older. So what is it going to be like for us web 2.0 users? Our generation? How will we feel when people who have started a teen craze like Justin Bieber, Beyonce', or Miley Cyrus start dying off? I think about the rappers sometimes too. I don't know about everybody else, but I love Lil' Wayne and can't picture the world with him gone from it. Most people probably think he's crude and degrading to women, but love him or not, its still kind of hard to wrap you head around. It has been a whole year, and Michael's passing is only about halfway through my brain. I just think what would America in particular feel like 40 years from now when most of our current pop sensations are gone from this earth.

I'm gonna come right out and say it: Why say bad words?? Yesterday I went on myspace out of complete bordom and on an old classmates page, this gurl was tearrin it up!! Like okay, I understand how in today's culture teenagers use cuss words, but like whats the purpose? She wasnt even talkin to anyone, she had it posted on a picture...really? I understand how some ADULTS use cuss words as an expression of anger but using them doesnt really make you look smarter, just like you dont have any class if directed at a person. Me personaly I dont like or use cuss words because I dont get the point, and also I just have normality issues so I just go the different route. I know some people use them because of celebrity influence, and I say "Your point is". You and whoever sings,raps,models, or dances isnt you. Yall are not the same people and just because they do that, would you do drugs, drink, or in the words of Lil Wayne "'beep' every girl in the world" too??

Natural??

I dont know if you call what I'm doing natural, but for a girl who has been getting perms for as long as she can remember, I say I'm pretty close. I decided to stop getting perms yesterday when my cousins and almost everyone else in my family told me my crimps were GORGEOUS. The story behind it was that my hair was starting to break in the back so that was one of the reasons I didn't want to get it flat-ironed anymore, just until it grew back to decent length. Back to the crimps, the way my hair looks now is crinkly and shiny, but only near the top. My only problem is the ends look kinda dull which sucks and the bad thing is:The dull part looks the most natural out of the whole thing. I'm okay with the hair style because it down and free and flowy and I get to express myself because just like this new hair style, I'm un-controllable and pretty and well flamboyant.

Attack of the CRIMPS!!!

By now, yall should know that I'm a FAITHFUL tgaw reader and viewer, so it should not have come as a suprise when I said I want my hair like theirs...curly. Now I took it into consideration that my hair is nowhere near the length of their hair so I decided to do some tests runs before actually goin to the beauty shop and comin out looking like the black Marie Antoinette. I decided Ill do crimps before going curly just to get a visual. Samrt idea casue it was a complete......SUCCESS!! We just washed my hair, put a little leave in conditioner, and braided it inot about 9 braids and I was officially on my Cleo swag {remember Cleo from Set it Off}. Considering today is the 4th, I took it down today and it was a complete attack...the moral of this story is just....Always do a test with your hair before paying your good money.Have a Happy Independence Day!

Good Afternoon everyone! Im just waking up and my sis challenged me to a game of pool...........beat her. ANYWAAAAYS..im like super thrilled to be a high school cheerleader!!!!......man they do alot up at my new school with them cheerleaders....i gotta get fitted for my uniforms,and go to a 3 day camp...all before school starts! Luckily the camp ends on the 7th of august or i wouldn't be blogging anymore due to the fatal wounds of a butterknife, drawn out of the purse of Syd s..(her bday is the next day...phew!). POOL

cmon. I dare you....... Ch'mon!!!!. I need a challenge! I am the...freakn pool master!!! ...i beat my own teacher!.....yea, my big headed cosing taught me. Ok mabye i aint that good.....but i learned all the pool lingo and rules and stuff...i used to play on my ps2 and i won alot, but wen it comes to the real thing, you come to find that you have to hold the stick right b4 you start pocketing...AND theres this kool little square of blue chalk that you rub against the end of the stick...i love it. Since there are like fancy words for every thing in pool i asked my eldest big head cousin "what do you call a pool stick?" and now they think im crazy.

So, I have noticed this campaign called NoH8 and I want to know what yall think of it. For those of you who dont know, NoH8 is a campaign made by Adam Bouska and Jeff Parshley in protest to Preposition 8 which banned same-sex marriages in California on November 4,2008. People pose with duct tape on their mouths to show how Prep 8 has silenced their voices and NoH8 painted on their cheeks. I think that this campaign is something that most Americans should want to be apart of. I am not gay, but I do have relatives who are and I dont feel that we should judge them in any way because only God's judgement count.I dont think that we should be able to deny people of their personal preferences and happiness and I dont think that states should have restrictions upon a person's life. Basically the Prep is telling people who they can and cant marry or have a relationship with and I dont think that's how America wants to be portrayed as. Hopefully the campaign will come somewhere close to my location because I think this is something that not only my family, but yin and I would participate in. Hello, my name is Ryliegh, and I am a new intern for the Yin Yang Thang blog. I am happy to be apart of this blog, for one because, I have a lot to say and this gives me a chance to express those things. Also, I'm well known for posts that I put on Gmail called thoughts of the week, and I would love to put those on this blog, people say they are really helpful to their everyday lives. But, I don't just post about "Kidd stuff" I am very mature for my age, so sometimes my posts are going to be really deep and in depth. I am a total computer nerd, like I love to be on the computer just doing anything, and giving advice is usually what I'm doing. Every now and then I post a blog on relationship websites or on adult websites, and you may think that's weird because I'm a teen but I understand the adult mind and I relate to older people. So if you ever need someone to talk to I would love to help you out. Well, I think that's all I have to say for now, but since I am a new member of the blog, I will give you a "Thought of the Weekend" since its Thursday: Topic: Relationships

For the ladies: When you find a guy that makes you smile don't jump to conclusions as to whether or not you will be w/ him, but take time to get to know him. And if you already have someone, never let your relationship die, keep on adding more adventure and spontinanity so that you continue to grow in each other.

For the guys: The one thing that girls look for in a guy is someone who listens, so when you meet a girl or even if you already have one, remember that you are more than just someone who she wants to hang out w/ she expects you to be there for her when times are rough so she can have a shoulder to cry on.

For both: Being in a relationship is a wonderful thing but if you don't know how to handle one, you are at a loss, and the best thing to do for both guys and girls is that you find who YOU are first so that when you meet someone, and they try to change you, you know who you are and what your about so you can be independent w/ or w/o them.

If those hands were female,had towel boy blue nail polish on them, and were typing on a Toshiba, that would be me. I have been working soooo hard on this blog and i honestly feel kinda geeky. I understand what Shandrea Lewdram meant when they said alot of hard work goes into making a blog. i DO however feel that it will pay off when we start getting followers, the thing about it is that not only am I working on a blog, Im making a YouTube channel, twitter, and soon a Gmail. If u read my most recent and smallest post ill probably ever post, you will see that I care. I love to care cause quoting an actor from Michael The Musical "Yes, I care it takes too much time and energy not to care..", I feel that that was totally true. I mean other than God, if we didnt care/love who would? And if we didnt care what else could we possibly do with all of the time on our hands? What could possibly be more important than the well beings of others? Who are you not to care for someone or something else if you have someone caring for you? But with all of those questions I think the most important one would be, Why not care? I ask these questions because God is caring for you, your family is caring for you, and hopefully you have friends that are caring for you, so why not care? Caring and not liking something is too different things , so before you say you dont care about something why dont you jus say you dont like it?

So me and syd are both going to different schools and to be honest, im scared. Now anyone who knows me is probably smirking cause im awas the strong one but idk this looks like its going to be a true test on our friendship. another thing thats worring me is all the work...for my school im going to i have like 5 summer projects and i think its going to be hard and scary because I dont know most of these ppl and any of the teachers. At my old school i knew everyone and it was a Christian school so of course you felt loved bt this new school is collegiate and very serious so can you blame me?

So ok, tomorrow is the official last day of camp and im nervous. One of m really good friends..who shall remain nameless..is kinda messy and some girls are planning to get her...scary right , I know. So i was thing that maybe i should go purchase me a pair of everlast pink boxing gloves cause come saturday nite, its probably gonna be a fight and some blood on the dance floor so I guess theyre gonna have to get ready for a TKO. Not that Im going to fight cause I dont condone violence, but I still think it would be cute and hey if the goin gets tough or she starts to get beat all I gotta do is "MR.KING MR.KING HELP HELP HELP"
